you may wonder how my artwork "nature wonderland had got its name" actually it is very quite simple. when i was younger me and my dad would always go mushroom hunting because it was a way for us to bond. when i went mushroom hunting i felt as if i was in "wonderland". it always brought me joy as a kid. so i decided to include mushrooms into my artwork. this had been a core memory for me. i decided that all though mushrooms typically aren't the vibrant colors that you see in my artwork, i wanted to include them because i feel like they expressed the way i felt better then just bland colors. i feel like it also helps the viewer as well as myself.
The name of my artwork is called endless love it had its name because of the shape that I chose. Typically hearts represent love and i wanted to use the shape of a heart because i thought it would be a good shape to use to get a good pattern. I used a variety of multiple different colors in my artwork including 3 different shades of blues/ greens and 3 different shades of brown. I started to choose the colors that i wanted for this piece i did this by finding a picture of my friend's eye. I then zoomed in to find 3 different shades of their eye color then tried my best to match the markers with the colors that i had found. I then repeated this process with my own eye. After i found the colors that i wanted to incorporate i then made a patterned allusion by the multiple choices of colors in the shape of a heart.

I believe my passion for wanting to make clay on the wheel started when i saw pictures in a book about how to make clay on the wheel. I have always saw videos of people making clay on the wheel and that has also always interested me as well. But as soon as i saw the pictures something sparked my interests even more. At first i thought it would be easy because the videos all made it look so easy but as i started i came to realize it wasn't as easy as it had seemed. There were many times where i had to re start and it became very frustrating as well. But through it all it is something that i would definitely do again because of how much i like the outcome. I hope to improve my skill and get better as i practice.
